Marketing Director Ga Center Duties
SUMMARY
Work involves the development, coordination & implementation of
marketing programs with the goal of increasing Georgia Center
revenue. A person in this position is responsible for
cost-effective production and maintaining quality effectiveness
in meeting stated objectives. May supervise marketing, graphics,
electronic and web design staff in areas of research, design,
and advertising among others.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement & evaluate product-specific marketing
campaigns;
Coordinate efforts of marketing account managers for research,
advertising & public relations;
Provide leadership & direction to the Webmaster, graphic design,
print production & mail units;
Serve as liaison between marketing & educational departments to
assure services;
Analyze program-specific tracking information to measure return
on investment;
Review new & existing program marketing and promotion for
effectiveness & efficiency;
Manage media buys & negotiations;
Represent Marketing Department on the Center's strategic
management planning team;
Evaluate direct reports on quarterly basis & make
recommendations for annual increases;
Arrange for & take part in professional development training
activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public
Relations, or other relevant field plue experience in the design
& implementation of marketing campaigns combining print, web,
broadcast and other media.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent marketing, customer service & public relations skills;
Knowledge of logistics involved with meetings and events
