SUMMARY

This is the second in a series of five positions which increase in responsibility that is determined by subject expertise, program scope, and accountability for program performance.

A person allocated to the Program Specialist category performs professional level work within a program that provides outreach and educational services to a variety of clientele. These programs are generally external to the University and represent a specific area of interest. This is professional staff work in a single program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May assist with program development and administration.

Prepares informational material.

Makes presentations to program clientele.

Produces written reports.

May perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of a Bachelor's degree with some related experience.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to assist with program development and administration.

Working knowledge of program area.
