SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Associate Editor is to work with project's editor and section editors in developing and organizing the content for the New Georgia Encyclopedia. This includes helping conceptualize the comprehensive lists of articles in 25+ subject areas and assisting in locating writers for the articles. Other reponsibilities of the position is to guide authors regarding the content and form of articles, assist the editor and section editors in reading and evaluating the articles, and assists the editor and managing editor in revising or rewriting articles as needed.
