SUMMARY

The Project Editor serves as the liaison between editorial and production departments. A person in this position is responsible for coordinating the transfer of manuscripts from copyediting to production as well as the control of schedules, transmitting proof, maintaining records, status reports, etc. The Project Editor may be assigned other tasks as necessary.
