Resume Skills


Rather than demonstrate skills in each resume section, some job applicants may want to address job related skills in a separate section, called Resume Skills Summary. The skills we discuss here can be management leadership skill, communicational skill, teamwork spirit, technical or computational skills.

What are consider as skills?

Anything that you are good at and will be useful to the job your are applying to is worth of mentioning on your resume. They include:

  • Research ability
  • Oral or written skills
  • Organizational ability
  • Types of computer languages you are familiar with
  • Software programming
  • etc.

If you want, you can give examples of each significant skills you have possessed. You can also include your other skills, such as foreign language proficiency, such as Spain, Chinese, etc.
