SUMMARY

A person in this position markets the Executive Masters in Business Administration (Executive MBA) and Evening MBA programs for Terry College of Business. This individual works with a great deal of autonomy and work is evaluated by outcomes.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Markets the EMBA and Evening MBA programs to prospective students and companies with the goal of increasing enrollment and maintaining quality.

Gathers and analyzes market research data with the goals of better understanding the selection criteria of prospective students, determining effectiveness of current marketing efforts and identifying target markets for recruiting purposes.

Develops and/or manages the advertising and marketing communications plan for both MBA programs. Determines the appropriate mediums for delivery of content to the desired audience and updates & enhances the web site.

Provides career-related support and coaching to interested students. Identifies a select group of applicants and collaborates with internal colleagues to provide individualized service and care. Maintains online career resources for students and alumni. Manages programming events designed to enhance career management expertise.

Represents Terry College MBA programs at functions held in the external business community.

Performs related work as required.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred. Previous marketing experience in an academic environment is required, preferably with a graduate business program, with demonstrated experience creating and executing marketing strategies.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to promote and sell programs to prospective students.

Strong customer relations and communications with ability to persuade & influence and build effective relationships with internal and external business professionals.

Strong business acumen, computer, presentational and organizational skills.
