SUMMARY

This is an advanced customer service position dealing with all aspects of offset printing production. It requires specialized skills and printing experience. The incumbent of the position coordinates print jobs; meets with customers to discuss print job specifications; assists pre-press department in determining correct imposition templates, assists customers with software problems; follows jobs from start to finish, and serves as back-up print estimator.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate & maintain computer generated digital printing equipment. Transfer & manipulate computer generated print files for production. Assist in routine preventive maintenance & monitoring of network infrastructure. Assist customers with training for proper job submission. Coordinate jobs from start to finish; expedites jobs via computer entry; approve proofs; prepare estimates for jobs & procurement; obtain quotes from outside vendors for assistance with finishing products; consult with staff regarding progress of jobs; answer telephone; other duties as needed.
