SUMMARY

The job primary function of an Electronic Editor is to provide support for electronic editing and composition by converting, cleaning up, updating, and archiving electronic files provided by authors. A person in this position may also assign work to freelancers, produces files ready for composition, and may also do copyediting on electronic files. This person is also the contact person for the author and staff on electronic projects.
